Who are we
D3st1ny was erected in October 2006 with the purpose to supply IT support to consumers and businesses. In March 2007 we opened our doors in our workshop at Lexington Drive in Bella Vista. Our determination to do things different was noticed quickly by our customers. A constant flow of new clients came to our shop for hardware, repairs, virus and spyware solutions, training and IT support. Local bussiness have been pleasantly surprised by our fresh approach and knowledge. In the year after we have set up new support lines like web and email hosting, remote backup, VOIP, to customers needs in IT land.

Henk Staal
More than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. I have fulfilled many roles from programmer to IT manager. I have been selected in 1995 as a Senior Project-manager of a group of 6 to run complex project for the Local Telco in The Netherlands. Moved to Australia for a year, but enjoyed the life-style so much that the family decided to stay. I have been IT manager for international company for 7 years and was in the last few years focused on the operation and cost-cutting aspects of that organisation. Have been made redundant in 2007 after the company was bought by a Canadian company what gave me the perfect start to set-up our own business.

Completing my HSC in 2006 at The Hills Grammar School I was left to make many life changing choices. At school I favoured drama and performing arts; however I always had keen passion and genuine interest in IT. I was fortunate enough to have been placed into work experience in small computer repair shop early 2006. I enjoyed the work greatly, this combined with my father’s long time contract finishing in 2007 created opportunity. This opportunity quickly turned into a reality as we combined our visions to set up our service centre. Using youthful ingenuity combined with an honest attitude and good communication skills, we survived through our first year of business and now we have employed more staff, I have once again enrolled for study, beginning with a Diploma of System Administrator followed closely by a Diploma of Project Management.
